Our Vision

Human beings are designed to be extraordinarily creative, generous, and collaborative geniuses capable of going beyond limitations, capable of transforming and inventing entire cultures and expressions of their values and their potential.

SOMOS is investigating how to create and inhabit a culture that prioritises above all else our intrinsic value and potential as human beings and how to live with purpose in ways are yet to be invented. We are the Guiena Pigs and the land is our laboratory. We are not experts, we are experimenters and our quest is to discover what else is possible.

We long to live in a way that unifies us with our nature, restoring and enhancing our power and vitality as human beings and the power and vitality of the ecosystems that are our home.

I am Lisa-Maria, spaceholder and Guardian of SOMOS.

In 2023 I decided to become a guardian of 25,000 of land in La Orotava and protect and support this wild paradise to be be a safe space for flora and fauna to thrive, as well as a training and experimentation space for humans to flourish and evolve, a playground for myself and others to discover who they are and what transformation needs to happen to be able to really live full-out.

Because regenerative culture starts on the inside, as we regenerate ourselves we become the people who can create a different culture, something completely different to the capitalistic extractive modern culture that is currently the status quo.

I spent most of my life doing my own thing, I never had a career or tried to be successful in modern culture it did not interest me, but i did not try and create anything else because I did not even think that was a possibility. I thought the space was all filled up and that's just the way it is. Then I found a crazy bunch of researchers who are on the cutting edge of anything that has been done before, discovering how to recover their agency and authority to do seemingly impossible things - and well, life got a whole lot more interesting then.

Now I live my purpose, to be unreasonably alive and ignite aliveness in others and invite them to unleash their potential more and more so we can be together and be in life in a way that is ecstatic and nourishing for us and for the planet.

About Us

I am Charlotte Spaceholder and Guardian of SOMOS.

I was a teacher of hypnotherapy but in 2022 I got bored of playing the lone wolf game, and the “I must be successful”, in modern culture game, and decided that I wanted to live in a community and find another way of being “successful”. I rented a big house and invited people to live with me. What it gave to me was a slap in the face about what a fantasy world I lived in and how “under the radar” my survival strategies were. I had no idea how to handle that and so I drank a lot of alcohol and started to smoke cannabis.

However, I still wanted to live in community and wanted to buy land. So I did. But I knew that something had to change in me, I didn't know what or how but I discovered Possibility Management and did some intensive training. BOOM! Now I am on a different path altogether. A path of Love, Clarity, Transformation and Evolution with adulthood initiations, collaborative communication and radical responsibility leading the way I am creating a realm for all beings to discover who they are and their purpose.

I no longer consider myself to be an owner of Somos but rather a guardian of it. I walk the land everyday and listen to what it wants me to do or not do. My next step in my evolution is to build a new culture and village here at Somos and in Tenerife. In addition, I want to combine different modalities of transformation and evolution that include working with nature, sound and vibration and energetic work.

Possibility Team

This is the Women of Earth Possibility Team - a call to women in Tenerife who are hungry to discover together how to create and inhabit a new context. It is a space of exploration, experimentation and support.

The Expand The Box is a 5-day residential training where you empower yourself and others to discover new possibilities, discover the power of your feelings and using them to create what truly matters to you.

The Blueprint

We are researching regenerative ways of living on our land in Tenerife that can be adapted and replicated in the Canary Islands and the rest of the world.

Our land is a hub for the research and investigation of regenerative cultures, a place to bring people together who are also on fire to create an alternative to the way of living that is currently on offer.
