In 2023 I decided to become a guardian of 25,000m2 of wild paradise and be a safe space for gaia to thrive, as well as to create a training space for humans to evolve and discover how to really live full-out.

I have learnt through experience that regeneration must begin on the inside. As we heal and transform, we become the people who can create something completely different than the capitalistic extractive culture that is currently the status quo.

I spent most of my life doing my own thing, I never had a career or tried to be successful in modern culture,the linear life-plan menu did not interest me. I didn't try and create something new either, because it seemed impossible.

Then I found a crazy bunch of researchers who are on the cutting edge of anything that has been done before, discovering how to recover their agency as free adults to do seemingly impossible things - and well, life got a whole lot more interesting then.

Now I live my purpose in action, to be unreasonably alive and ignite aliveness in others by inviting them to unleash their potential more and more so we can live life in a way that is ecstatically nourishing for us and for the planet.

CHARLOTTE

I was a teacher of hypnotherapy but in 2022 I got bored of playing the lone wolf game, and the “I must be successful”, in modern culture game, and decided that I wanted to live in a community and find another way of being “successful”. I rented a big house and invited people to live with me. What it gave to me was a slap in the face about what a fantasy world I lived in and how “under the radar” my survival strategies were. I had no idea how to handle that and so I drank a lot of alcohol and started to smoke cannabis.

I knew that something had to change in me, I didn't know what or how but I discovered Possibility Management and did some real training. BOOM! Now I am on a different path altogether. A path of Love, Clarity, Transformation and Evolution. A path of adulthood initiations, collaborative communication and radical responsibility.

I not the owner of SOMOS, rather a guardian of it. I walk the land everyday and listen to what it wants me to do or not do. My next step in my evolution is to build a new culture and village here at Somos and in Tenerife, creating a realm for all beings to discover who they are and their purpose.

ORAN

I left the confines of academia to seek people who are inventing beyond the limits of what seems possible, shaping the world I truly long for.

That longing is for a world that makes sense. Where life moves freely, unhindered by the limitations of modern culture, where children can feel without repression, where the binary of right and wrong no longer strangles possibility, and where the earth thrives, united as one.

My commitment to this world is non-negotiable. I discovered that to truly stand for this vision, I must first own my natural responsibility as a conscious being. Responsibility of discovering and engineering the stories I use to understand the world, Responsibility over my emotional healing and my relating with fear, and over ungoingly revieling the dark side of my subconscious. I am actively going through the necessary initiations into authentic adulthood.

I am done waiting for change to arrive—I am living it and creating it now.

THE LAND

Our land is a living canvas of regenerating forest and resilient agricultural terraces, now buzzing with birds, bees, and diverse life. We are the dedicated guardians of this habitat, committed to aiding its flourishing. Through transformative restoration, we are converting our traditional orchard into a nature-imitating food forest, fuelled by solar energy and on the way to a zero-waste water system. This is our model for how to heal farmland, cultivate abundance, and thrive in unison with Gaia.
